Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Eva School and our Applied AI program.

Who is this program for?

This program is for anyone who wants to build practical AI skills for the workplace. Whether you're starting fresh, transitioning from another field, or looking to add AI capabilities to your existing technical skills, Eva School provides a structured 10-month path from learning to employment.

What are the prerequisites?

No prior AI experience is required. The first 6 weeks (Phase A — Foundations) bring all students to a common baseline in programming, data, web technologies, and deployment. Basic computer literacy and a willingness to learn are the main requirements.

How long is the program and what is the schedule?

The program is 10 months long (40 weeks), at 35 hours per week, totaling approximately 1,400 hours of learning. It follows a hybrid, project-based format.

What will I be able to do after graduating?

Graduates can build workflow automations, develop LLM-powered tools with retrieval and safety checks, design and deploy full-stack AI products, and work effectively inside a delivery team using professional practices like pull requests, code review, and stakeholder demos.

What jobs can I get after this program?

Graduates compete for entry-level roles such as AI Automation Implementer, Junior LLM/RAG Application Developer, Junior AI Product Engineer, AI Solutions Associate, and Technical Delivery Associate.

Is the program bilingual?

Yes. The Eva School platform and all instructional support are available in both English and French. Students also develop professional communication skills in both languages as part of the Professional Practice strand.

How is assessment done?

Assessment is rubric-based with three levels: Foundation, Practitioner, and Job-Ready. There are no numeric grades. Gates every 4 weeks check progress. Students must pass all core gates, complete specialization projects, and meet production lab requirements to graduate.

How does job placement work?

The final 4 weeks (Phase E) are dedicated to placement. Students build portfolios, practice interviews, and connect with employers. Eva School provides employer-facing assets, mock interviews, trial-project matching, employer days, and 90-day post-placement follow-up.
